23 and 24 of June: Feast of San Juan in Ciutadella.

This festivity is characterized by the employers that it possesses. It has a wide range of activities for all tastes. Here, both big kids and little ones can have fun and unforgettable moments. It should be noted that the celebration begins the Sunday before the  twentyfourth of June. This day is known as the "Day des Be" and there a peasant walks the streets dressed like John the Baptist without any shoes on. Alongside the traditional "caixers"(riders)who also walk,and  invite all people to be partakers of the feast that lies ahead. On the twenty-third at  two in the afternoon at the palace of "Caixer Senvor"  the party is started with the "first knock.  This comes from a tiny drum mixed with flabiol  (flute made of cane). The next day, the twenty-fourth, at ten in the morning in the Pla de Sant Joan medieval games are played and at six in the afternoon the famous "uninvited". This part of the celebration is the invitation that  the noble rider makes to the City Hall to observe the games that will begin an hour later. Note that these are the most risky of all the party because they are attended by more experienced riders. Finally, the evidence given here are three. The first one is known by the name "Ensortilla" and the aim is to see the balance of the participants. The second is known as "breaks carotes  and the level is to test pairs. And third, the greatest danger, is referred to as "run abraçats. There, two horses gallop together while their riders try to embrace.
